We are seeking an additional Remedial Massage Therapist/Myotherapist to join our team allowing us to provide a complete offering of services to our patients, supporting them through every step of their injury rehabilitation. Grow your career in clinical private practice with our supportive and collaborative team including a highly experienced Remedial Sports Therapist, Exercise Scientist, Physiotherapist and Fitness Trainers.

• The clinic is located within the largest 24hr Gym in Gippsland.

• We utilise cloud-based practice management software.

• You will have everything you need so you can focus on providing the best outcomes for our patients. If we do not have equipment you like to use for your proven clinical outcomes, we will purchase it.

• A week break every 4 to 6 weeks if desired. A work life balance and self-care are a priority!

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments and clinical testing to identify root causes of complaints.

• Collaboratively develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Maintaining Records: Update and maintain patient records in accordance with privacy laws and clinic policies. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of patient information.

• Handling Confidential Information: Uphold patient confidentiality by following privacy and data protection regulations. Safeguard sensitive information and maintain a secure and organized reception area.

• Continuously upskill and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in clinical testing methodologies.

• Think outside the box to provide innovative and effective therapeutic interventions.

• Collaborate with a highly skilled team to deliver gold standard service to our clients.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or higher qualification in Remedial Massage or Myotherapy.

• Current Industry Membership (e.g. M&MA, MAA, ANTA).

• Health Fund Provider Numbers or the willingness to apply.

• Proven experience in musculoskeletal assessment and clinical testing or a willingness to learn.

• Demonstrated clinical reasoning skills and an ability to think outside the box.

• Superb communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong practitioner-patient relationships.

• A team player attitude.

• Demonstrated willingness to learn and upskill to meet evolving industry standards.

• A knowledge and understanding of exercise prescription is desired yet, not a deal breaker. A willingness and openness to learn is optimal.

• Ability to grow referral networks and support the team build a strong patient caseload.

• Possesses a strong work ethic and commitment to clinical excellence.

 

Position Specifics:

• Permanent part-time position.

• 2 – 3 days per week.

• No Friday or Weekend work.

• Expected hours: 20 - 24 per week.

• $35 - $80 per hour + relevant award entitlements including allowances + superannuation.

• Above award wages reflective of your exceptional skills and commitment.
